More To Build
a More To That project

Custom AI tools for people who run a business

You don't have an AI problem.
You're drowning in AI.

You've got five tools you barely touch and an hour that repeats every single day, one you've gone too numb to notice. I'm not here to sell you a sixth tool. I'm the outside eyes that finds the one task quietly eating your week, then builds the thing that deletes it, while you watch it run.

Repetition is a form of anesthesia.

The first time you do a tedious task, you feel every second of it. By the thousandth time, your brain files it under reflex and stops reporting it to you at all. So the tasks most worth deleting are exactly the ones that have gone quiet. You're not ignorant of the waste. You're acclimated to it.

You can't read the label from inside the jar. You're the jar; the wasted hour is the label, printed facing inward. That's not a flaw in you. It's the geometry of running your own business. The whole job of an outside set of eyes is to sit outside it for one afternoon, which is the only place the label is finally legible.

The foundation and the frontier.

For years I've written a blog called More To That about seeing your own life clearly. Philosophy, psychology, the inner world. That's my foundation, and it always will be.

More To Build is the other half, the same instinct pointed outward: helping you see your business clearly, then building the tool that fixes what you find. Where More To That helps you see, More To Build helps you make.

AI is what makes that second half possible now. Its real power, I've found, isn't in doing the work you care about. It's in handling the work you don't, so the hours come back to what only you can do. You keep your foundation. I build the engine that lets you stay on it.

1

The afternoon

I sit with how your business actually runs and find the three tasks you've gone blind to. You'll recognize them the second I point.

2

The build

I circle the one that pays back the fastest and build the tool that deletes it. Fixed scope, usually inside two weeks, in the way your business already works.

3

You watch it run

No chatbot bolted onto the side. A real task, gone, with you watching it happen. Then we go find the next one.

Intake

The retyping killer

The same customer details, typed three times into three systems, become one step that fills them all in for you.

Clarity

The honest dashboard

Every offer, every campaign, every number in one plain view, so you can see what's actually working without hunting for it.

Reach

The repurposing engine

One long piece of writing becomes a week of on-brand posts, in your voice, in the time it takes to pour a coffee.

Who's behind this

I'm Lawrence Yeo. I write More To That, an illustrated blog read by more than 40,000 people, and I have a book on the way with Penguin Random House. I'm not an agency. I'm a writer who got obsessed with building the tools that protect his own time, and now builds them for a small number of other people who run something they care about.

Find the hour you can't see.

Tell me where to reach you. I'll follow up personally, and share what I'm building along the way. No noise, no funnel.
